Catalog Description
Basic concepts related to curriculum. Philosophical, historical, psychological, and social foundations of primary school curricula. Main components (goals, objectives, and learning outcomes, content, teaching- learning process, assessment and evaluation) of primary school curricula.
Course Objectives

This course aims to develop students’ knowledge and understandings to discuss the basic concepts related with curriculum. It also aims to help students evaluate the philosophical, historical, psychological, and social foundations of primary school curricula. The course further aims to foster students’ academic growth in analyzing the main components of primary school curricula in terms of their goals, objectives, and learning outcomes, content, teaching-learning process, assessment and evaluation techniques.
