Catalog Description
Four skills of language (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). Authentic communicative language. Teaching integrative skills to various learner groups and proficiency levels. Task-based language teaching. Content and language integrated learning.
Course Objectives
This course covers both theoretical concepts and pedagogic applications in foreign language reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The course aims at helping prospective teachers improve their knowledge and use of teaching methods and techniques of integrating language skills in task-based and content-based lessons.
