Course Objectives

The main objective of this course is to examine the behavior of individuals and groups in organizations.

Software Usage
Students will use MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint) to work on their weekly assignments about 2 hours a week.

Upon succesful completion of this course, a student will be able to
1. Define the basic organizational behavior concepts
2. Recognize the importance of motivation in the performance of group members in an organization
3. Identify the effects of power and politics within the organization system
4. Describe the vital role leaders play in the decision making and management of conflict
5. Discover the human resource policies and practices
