The aim of this course is to provide students deep understanding of assesment issues regarding classroom learning. By looking from several aspects, students will analyze the appropriate use of different assessment tools for specific purposes. Including grading and evaluation of learning outcomes, students will have a chance to elaborate on several issues related to evaluation of learning process.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:
1. Identify diffferent types of assessment tools used in education.
2. Examine assessment tools based on traditional approaches and their characteristics.
3. Analyze assessment tool for recognizing students from different aspects.
4. Compare advantages and disadvantages of preparing and using different assessment tools.
5. Discuss the importance of including students in evaluation process.
6. Collaborate on effectiveness of assessment tools for different purposes.
7. Elaborate on points to be considered in the evaluation process of success of students.
8. Interpret evaluation of learning outcomes.
9. Discuss on grading isues.
