Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to:

  1. Explain the importance of technology in mathematics teaching.
  2. List commonly used Computer Algebra Systems (CAS) and Dynamic Geometry Systems (DGS) for elementary mathematics instruction.
  3. Use basic features of specialized software Mathematica.
  4. Use basic features of math education software Geogebra.
  5. Produce activities with Geogebra to use in middle school mathematics instruction. 
  6. Produce activities requiring the use of graphing calculator to use in middle school mathematics instruction. 
  7. Implement interactive activities through Geogebra in middle school mathematics instruction process.
  8. Implement interactive activities through graphing calculator in middle school mathematics instruction process.
