Zehra Yeler
She was born in Ankara in 1994. She graduated from high school in 2012. After a one-year studentship experience in Molecular Biology and Genetics, she did a 180-degree turn in her career path. She graduated from TED University Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department in 2018 with high honors. During the undergraduate education, she worked as a coordinator for one and a half years in a voluntary group, which was gathered under the leadership of Istasyon TEDU. She started her master's degree at Gazi University, Guidance and Psychological Counseling Department right after her undergraduate graduation. Among her research interests, concepts such as emerging adulthood, difficulties in the transition to adulthood, psychological flexibility, intolerance to uncertainty can be listed. She is interested in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and gets related training. Vulnerable groups are also among her interests, and she tries to keep close tabs on the literature and practices, especially for refugee children and unaccompanied minors in child protection services.
She has been working as a research assistant in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at TED University since February 2019.
