The Search Conference on Mitigating and Managing Climate-Induced Disaster Risks

The Search Conference on Mitigating and Managing Climate-Induced Disaster Risks was hosted by TED University in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Interior Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency - AFAD, Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and TAM (Climate Change and Disaster and Emergency Technologies Platform) Foundation.

The opening speeches of the event were delivered by Prof. Dr. Ihsan Sabuncuoglu, Rector of TED University and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of TAM Foundation; Prof. Dr. Halil Hasar, Head of Climate Change, Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change; Hamza Taşdelen, Vice President of AFAD; Selçuk Pehlivanoğlu, President of the Turkish Education Association and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of TED University; and Faruk Eczacıbaşı, Chairman of the Board of Eczacıbaşı Holding and Chairman of the Turkish Informatics Foundation.
