Dr. Merih Uğurel Kamışlı from the Faculty of Education, Educational Sciences Program at TED University co-edited a new book published by Routledge, titled ‘English Literacy Educators Working with Refugee Families’ with Dr. Clarena Larrotta from Texas State University, College of Education, Program of Adult, Professional, and Community Education. 

Dr. Özlem Erden-Başaran from the Educational Sciences Program in the Faculty of Education contributed a chapter titled “The Role of Non-Governmental Organizations Supporting Adult Refugees and Families” in the book. This chapter offers valuable insights into how NGOs are working to enhance literacy skills for refugees in the U.S.
