Sinem Sözen Özdoğan

Sinem Sözen Özdoğan completed her secondary education in Uşak Abdulkadir Kılavuz Anatolian Teacher Training High School. In 2006, she started her undergraduate study in Elementary Mathematics Education Program at Middle East Technical University, Ankara. By means of Erasmus Exchange program, she also studied in Inholland Hogeschool, Rotterdam for one semester during undergraduate education and experienced the teaching practice in public elementary schools in Rotterdam, Netherlands. She completed her Master’s Degree at METU Elementary Science and Mathematics Education Department with a focus on incorporation of the history of mathematics in elementary mathematics education. Meanwhile, she has been working as a research assistant at TED University Faculty of Education Elementary Education Department till her graduate studies ended. She got her Ph.D. degree from METU Elementary Education Department with a focus on domain-specific teaching and learning pathways through educational design research perspective on proportional reasoning.
