Dear Stakeholders
We are excited to share the strategic plan prepared for TED University for the period of 2023-2027. Within the framework of this strategic initiative, which covers the next five years of TED University, we aim to further strengthen its position as a leader in education by focusing on student-centered, high-impact practices and digitalization. At the same time, we aim to enhance the innovative and entrepreneurial nature of the research ecosystem, increase knowledge production and its impact, and improve the University's visibility and recognition by fostering collaborations with international stakeholders. We also prioritize strengthening the University's connection with society and maximizing societal contribution in all mission areas. To ensure the success of our future strategic period, we consider continuous improvement of institutional governance capacity as crucial.
TED University, founded on the 95-year tradition of the Turkish Education Association, Turkey's first civil society organization in the field of education, is a higher education institution that advocates for integrative teaching with innovative teaching methods. It aims to nurture students as well-rounded, critically thinking, creative, entrepreneurial, self-confident individuals who embrace lifelong learning.
TED University is one of the few higher education institutions in our country that has quickly adapted to the online education process. As one of the first three private universities to be accredited for a five-year period by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), the goal of making a difference has been the greatest motivation behind the preparation of its strategic plan.
Over the next five years, TED University plans to achieve several strategic goals, including becoming more active academically and socially, having a sustainable campus, rising in international rankings, gaining recognition through national and international projects, and ensuring that its students are employed in alignment with the industry. During the 2023-2027 five-year strategic planning period, our goal is to further elevate the international prestige, recognition, and visibility of our university.
As the Rector of TED University, I have no doubt that everyone will diligently fulfill their responsibilities to realize the objectives and goals outlined in this document. I hope that the strategic plan will provide a driving force for all members of our university, and I wish that the inspiration it brings will lead to the highest productivity in the years ahead. I would like to sincerely thank all my colleagues who contributed to the preparation of the plan, which consists of 18 strategic goals and 60 strategic objectives in 5 main areas, and I wish you success in your work.
