Onur Benli
Dr. Onur Benli is a theoretical and computational physicist who works in the field of High Energy Astrophysics with a research focus on the dynamics of neutron stars and astrophysical disks. He graduated from Izmir Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Physics in 2010 and received his PhD in Physics from Sabancı University in 2016 and then held Research Fellowships at Sabancı University (2017 - 2019), University of Southampton (2019 - 2020) and Strasbourg University (2020 - 2021). He is an active member of the Turkish Astronomical Society, International Astronomical Union and European Astronomical Society. He refereed in The Astrophysical Journal (ApJ) and Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (MNRAS).
