Category of Quality Education: We're Ranked at 10th among Turkish Universities and at 201+ in the World
TED University has participated for the first time in 2020 in the Impact Rankings, which was first introduced in 2019 by Times Higher Education (THE), which is an institution conducting world university rankings. Impact Rankings measure the society-wide impact of strategies, policies and practices adopted by the higher education institutions throughout the world to assess them against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Universities applied in 2020 were subjected to assessment in terms of activities they had performed throughout 2019. Participation with a minimum of 4 SDG’s out of total 17 SDGs was set as a prerequisite as the 17th SDG (Partnerships for the Goals) being mandatory.
Our University, which had participated in total 6 SDG’s including the 17th, has been ranked between 601-800 range among 1115 participant universities from 94 countries all around the world, also including 52 universities from Turkey in the general category.
