Call for Proposals Undergraduate Research Fund 2018-2019/2

TEDU-URF is one of the research endorsements provided by TEDU for Undergraduate Students. By making an application to TEDU-URF, students and Project Advisor (Project Team) pledge that no double-funding[1] exists for the budget items proposed in the application.
The objectives of TEDU-URF are;
- To encourage undergraduate students to initiate and take part in research activities
- To create interdisciplinarity and strengthen teamwork culture
Criteria for Proposals:
- supporting Institutional strategy, principles and research priorities of TEDU
- enhancing scientific skills of the students involved in the project teams
- contributing to academic careers of the students involved in the project teams
- defining clear, realistic and achievable project goals, methodology and outputs
- justifying proper allocation of budget and time to project activities
Funding Information:
Maximum amount of budget for each project cannot be more than 5.000 TL.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applications are accepted from a Project Advisor on behalf of the Project Team, who could be full faculty member, instructor, part-time lecturer or research assistant working at TEDU. Project team members should be undergraduate level student(s). Please note that Project Team Leader should have more than one semester until graduation.
How to Apply:
To access the application form please login to myTEDUPortal between March 1th and April 26th, open Research Endorsements tile/app and select “Create Application”. Please do not forget to select “Undergraduate Research Fund” as Project Type.
Required Documents which should be uploaded to the system:
- Literature Review (max. 5 pages)
- Proforma Invoices
- Letter of Intent is required in the case of collaboration with other institutions
- Ethics Committee Approval and/or other required Legal/Institutional Permissions
- Timetable (Project Calendar)
- Budget Plan (which has been provided within the call announcement e-mail)
- Risk Analysis (Technical, Operational, and Financial Risks should be mentioned -where relevant- and respective mitigation actions & contingency plans should be proposed)
