Observations related to special teaching methods and techniques peculiar to early childhood education. Student teaching experience with children aged between zero and six in different early childhood education programs. Teach practices by using teaching methods and techniques peculiar to early childhood. Design developmentally appropriate activities and materials peculiar to early childhood. Organize learning environments. Use effective classroom management skills. Assessment of learning and development. Provision of parent involvement. Participation in professional development activities. Engage in reflection.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- demonstrate knowledge of content areas in developmentally appropriate curriculum for children ages between zero and six,
- plan developmentally appropriate learning activities and materials peculiar to early childhood education,
- practice developmentally appropriate teaching by using teaching methods and techniques peculiar to early childhood education,
- prepare learning environments during free choice, structured, learning center activities, and group activities peculiar to early childhood education,
- employ multiple assessment techniques to monitor learning and development in a preschool setting,
- collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, families, and community
