Işıl Ömeroğlu Sayıt
Dr. Işıl Ömeroğlu Sayıt obtained her Master's and Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Geological Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU). She conducted experiments and research on Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. After working as a Research Assistant at METU for approximately 7 years, she shifted her focus to Project Consulting. Her areas of interest include; Epithermal Ore Deposits, Hydrothermal Alteration Products, Clay Mineralogy and Geology, Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Remote Sensing, Disaster Technologies, and Disaster Management. She is currently working as a Project Specialist at the Directorate of Research, Technology, and Innovation of TED University.
