Fatih Ekinci
Fatih Ekinci graduated from Ankara University in 2000, with a B.A. in Linguistics. He found placement as an English teacher right after his graduation and started to work for the same university. He served in the army at the Air Force Command as a third liutenant - interpreter. In the following years, he pursued his career both at Bilkent University and TOBB University of Economics and technology. He got his Master’s Degree from Çankaya University, English Language and Literature Program, in 2011. Throughout his academic career, he attended several certificate and diploma programs such as “Practice of English and Command of Words (Scranton, The USA)”, “CERTELT (A certificate for English Language Teaching, The British Council)”, “PRE - DIPELT (Pre - Diploma in English Language Teaching The British Council)”, “DIPELT (Diploma in English Language Teaching, The British Council)”, “ICELT Participants’ Certificate - Bilkent University)”, “The Practical Teacher” (A certificate for English Language Teaching - International House – London). Between the years 2010 and 2012, he wrote an English to Turkish – Turkish to English dictionary called “FEZA Sözlük”. He has a short story book named “The Uncanny & Other Short Stories”. In September 2012, he joined TED University as an English Instructor. Currently, Fatih Ekinci is teaching the free elective courses he started himself at Ted University entitled ENG 300 Academic English with Short Stories and ENG 310 Academic English with Integrated Writing. In addition, he is teaching courses entitled ENG 204 Professional Communication Skills in English, ENG 101 English For Academic Purposes and ENG 102 Expository Writing.
