TED University realized an adaptation training program targeting the Syrian children who study at Ankara, Mamak.

Approximately 62 thousand of the students who immigrated to Turkey from Syria due to the instable conditions of the country study in state schools and 248 thousand Syrian children study at temporary education centers. In this process, universities and academicians carry different projects, along with the ministry of education, other public institutions and non-governmental organizations.

Our part-time instructor Ziya İmren and his design team, including our third year students Gökhan Yarar and Özgü Özcan, have been awarded with Honorable Mention in İzmir Selçuk Municipality Culture and Youth Center Architectural Project Competition.

On March 13, 2016, our beloved country has once again fallen into painful silence due to the horrific terrorist bombing.  Faced again with the all too familiar feeling of an overwhelming sense of loss and injustice, we are deeply hurt, and find ourselves lost in mourning and anger. In sorrow, we extend our hands and hearts to those who have lost their loved ones but we know that it is simply not enough, that their sorrows are unbearably heavy burdens to bear.
 

İsveç Örebro Üniversitesi Gelişimsel Araştırmalar Merkezinden Profesör Hakan Stattin  ve Dr. Metin Özdemir tarafından verilmekte olan “Müdahale Çalışmaları Çalıştayı”  bugün başladı. İki gün sürecek çalıştayda farklı üniversitelerden 40 katılımcı yer alıyor.
