Assist. Prof. Dr Taner Can in TÜBİTAK Project Team
The research project, in which Dr Taner Can participated as a researcher, was awarded "TUBITAK 3501 - Career Development Program" fund. Within the scope of the project, it was attempted to develop equations that allow the writing performance in the second language to be calculated on lexical errors and lexical complexity and to test their usability in automatic composition scoring systems.

On December 5, 2020, Şirin Tekeli Awards, organized by SU Gender (Sabancı University Gender and Women's Studies Center of Excellence), found their owners. Our department member, Dr. Gülçin Con Wright's research proposal, titled "Understanding the Experiences of Women as Grandmothers in Later Life in Turkey," was awarded the Research Incentive Award by the jury members.

REFUGEES AND SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE IN TURKEY WORKSHOP HELD IN TEDU
TED University, in cooperation with Earth Our Home International Solidarity Association and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, organized a workshop on the issues of international migration and living together experience. The name of the workshop was "Refugees and Social Acceptance in Turkey", and it was held at TED University on 23-24 February 2019.
