Elif Merve Nalçakar
After she graduated from Gazi University Department of City and Regional Planning as an honor student in 2015, she started her master’s education in Middle East Technical University City Planning Graduate Program in 2017. During this process, she continued her professional career as a city planner in a planning and design company and also contributed to the academic field with various studies. She was assigned as a research assistant at TED University Faculty of Architecture Department of City and Regional Planning in September 2019 and received her M.Sc. degree in 2021, with the thesis titled "Urban Oblivion: An Evaluation of Urban Conservation Approaches in terms of Geo-Cultural Identity in the Case of Jewish Quarter of Ankara."
She is currently continuing her doctoral studies in the City and Regional Planning Ph.D. Program at Middle East Technical University, focusing on the fields of industrial urbanism, industrial morphology, and production spaces.
