- Course withdrawal operations are done within the timeline indicated in the academic calendar.
Please Click here for the academic calendar. - Course withdrawal has to be approved by the consultant.
- The student who has withdrawn from the course is indicated with W.
- A freshman students who was registered in the first semester cannot withdraw from the courses which was taken in that semester
- The students can not withdraw from the courses they repeat due to F and FX grades.
- The compulsory courses of the curriculum indicated with W have to be retaken with the same code, the electives indicated with W have to be retaken with the same or a different code.
- The students can withdraw from the non-compulsory (NC) courses.
- The students can withdraw from a maximum of two courses in one semester.
- During the education, the undergraduate students can withdraw from a maximum of six courses and post-graduate students from a maximum of three courses.
- Withdrawal from courses taken outside the curriculum does not impede graduation.
- The tuition fee of the withdrawn course is not reimbursed.
- When processing withdrawal from a course, if there is a substitution course, it will be canceled and the former course grade will become valid.
- The students who want to withdraw from the course can make the withdrawal applications onMyTEDU Portal (https://my.tedu.edu.tr) by using the “Course Withdrawal” application. The students will receive an e-mail indicating the pending approval of the consultant. The students should follow from the system whether their application is approved by their consultant or not
- The consultants, can approve the withdrawal applications on MyTEDU Portal (https://my.tedu.edu.tr) by using the “Advisor Approval” application. When the withdrawal is approved the students and the lecturer of the course will be informed by an e-mail.
- The applications which are not approved within the indicated timeline are not put into process and the student is considered to be following the course.
