Burcu Eğilmez
Born in Ankara in 1991, Burcu Eğilmez graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Statistics from Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2013. In 2022, she completed her Master's degree in Statistics at Eskişehir Osmangazi University with a thesis titled "Supplier selection for a copper production company with an integrated quality function deployment approach using neutrosophic numbers based Kano model and MULTIMOORA methods." Her academic interests include personal development training, operations research, project management, machine learning, statistical software, data analysis, and optimization.
Since August 2014, she has worked as a Quality Officer in the Quality Department within the electrical-electronics, defense, and metal sectors. During this time, she managed the documentation processes of quality management systems, developed process improvement strategies, and enhanced her skills in risk management, analysis, and reporting. She developed strategies to increase the effectiveness of quality processes. By participating in management system audits, she contributed significantly to ensuring companies’ compliance with quality standards and promoting continuous improvement. These experiences have played a key role in ensuring the sustainability and efficiency of quality management systems.
Since November 2024, she has been working as a Quality Specialist at the TEDU Corporate Development Office, where she is responsible for the integration, documentation, process improvement, and sustainability of quality management systems. In addition, she holds certifications in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001:2022 Lead Auditor, Project Management, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 documentation training, and she is currently pursuing ISO 50001:2018 Lead Auditor training.
