Berkay Altunbaş
Berkay Altunbaş was born in Ankara in 1995 and obtained his degree in International Relations from Hacettepe University in 2018. During his undergraduate studies, he gained international academic experience by spending a semester at WSB Merito University Gdansk in Poland through the Erasmus+ Programme.
After graduation, Altunbaş began working as a Project Assistant at the Hacettepe University European Union Office, gaining significant experience in Erasmus+ traineeship mobility, staff mobility, consortium projects, and bilateral agreements. In June 2021, following his successful work, he was promoted to Project Specialist.
In 2019, Altunbaş represented Hacettepe University at the EAIE Conference, one of the largest education fairs in Europe, held in Helsinki. He also deepened his expertise in internationalisation by participating in job shadowing programmes at universities in various countries, including Ecole de Gouvernance et d'Economie Rabat, Tunghai University, Windesheim University of Applied Sciences, Tbilisi State University, and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Since November 2021, Altunbaş has been working as the Erasmus+ Programme Specialist at the TED University International Programs Office. His main responsibilities include managing higher education student and staff mobility projects, coordinating incoming and outgoing student/staff mobility processes, and overseeing consortium projects.
