Arzu Kanat Mutluoğlu
Arzu Kanat-Mutluoğlu started to major in English Language Teaching in 2007 and received her B.A. degree from Hacettepe University in 2012. During her B.A. education, she had a gap semester and worked as a language teaching assistant at a high school in Oostende, Belgium. After getting her B.A. degree, in 2012, she started to study on Master of Arts (MA) program in English Language Teaching Program at Pamukkale University. She successfully completed her MA thesis on pedagogical content kowledge of language teachers in 2014. In the same year, she started her doctoral education in English Language Teaching Program at Hacettepe University completed this education by getting the title of PhD in 2020. In her PhD dissertation, she focused on willingness to communicate (WTC) and conducted a multiphase study in order to examine the state and dynamic natures of WTC as well as the variables influencing WTC.
Arzu Kanat-Mutluoğlu worked as a research assistant in Department of English Language Teaching at Pamukkale University. During her PhD education, she was at Hacettepe University and she worked as a research assistant in Department of English Language Teaching at the same university in 2014-2018. In 2018, she returned to her position as a research assistant at Pamukkale Univertiy and she left this position in 2020. She started to work as a lecturer in Department of Foreign Languages Education in the program of English Language Teaching at TED University in September, 2020. She is currently holding the assistant professor position in English Language Teaching Program at TED University.
